Resumen

Desde un mundo convulso en medio de pandemias, y profundos cambios sociales y políticos, conversamos con el historiador italiano más destacado de la actualidad, Carlo Ginzburg, profesor emérito de la Universidad de California, mundialmente reconocido por obras como El queso y los gusanos y Ojazos de madera, así como por ser cocreador de la microhistoria italiana. A través de su experiencia nos invita a reflexionar sobre las transformaciones del mundo contemporáneo, entre los que destaca el debate por la verdad en el entorno digital, los límites de la memoria y el patrimonio, el acercamiento entre la historia y la literatura, todo ello, con el fin de repensar continuamente el trabajo del historiador en un mundo que no se detiene.

Abstract:

From a troubled world in the midst of pandemics and profound social and political changes, we spoke with today's most prominent Italian historian, Carlo Ginzburg, professor at the University of California, world renowned for works such as The Cheese and the Worms and Wooden Eyes, as well as for being a co-creator of Italian Microhistory. Through his experience, he invites us to reflect on the transformations of the contemporary world, among which stands out the debate for the truth in the digital environment, the limits of memory and heritage, the rapprochement between history and literature, all of this , in order to continually rethink the historian's work in a world that does not stand still.
